Please note:
we do offer regular part time DSP hours/shifts but at a different rate (call to inquire) Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland; An easy 35-40 minute commute from Dover, DE, Bridgeville, DE, and Trappe, MD, and roughly 45 minutes from the Bay Bridge.

Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required No experience necessary! As long as you have a heart and the ability to show compassion, we will train you upon hire Any certifications necessary for the job will be paid for and coordinated through Benedictine
Key Responsibilities Provide supervision and appropriate behavior management to assigned individuals Participate in recreation/leisure activities with the people we support.
Engage with individuals throughout your shift Teach and assist the individuals in personal hygiene and daily living skills.
This may include assisting with toileting, bathing and feeding Teach and assist individuals based on their personal goals and objectives Record and maintain individual logs (for activities and behaviors), progress notes and all other documentation as required May administer medical and first aid, or assist with transportation
Working Conditions Hours of work Full time Friday evening through Monday morning Adult Residential:
Shifts are flexible but you must work at least 26 hours every weekend (other than scheduled paid time off) to receive 35 hours of pay
full time benefits.
Weekend day, weekend evening, or weekend awake overnight hours available School Residential:
Shifts are Saturday and Sunday 8a-9p, you must work at least 26 hours every weekend (other than scheduled paid time off) to receive 35 hours of pay
full time benefits.
Overtime expectations Overtime is not required but is regularly available and much appreciated.

You must have a relatively clean driving record as transporting individuals may be required.
We have Benedictine vehicles to use for transportation purposes.
Use of your own vehicle is not required.
